Senior 3D Artist / Visualization Specialist (Vancouver, BC)
Overview
We are seeking applications for 3D artists to strengthen and extend our studio in Vancouver, BC.
Stambol’s CGI department uses 3-dimensional and digital media to produce inspired visual communications and immersive experiences through Virtual Reality. Our services and products allow architects, developers, and property agencies to promote projects before completion, enhancing their profile and market position with both potential investors and clients.
Job Description
There are exciting times ahead at Stambol, and we are seeking the very cream of crop 3D Artists possessing creative flair and individual drive; with a passion for architecture that is reflected in their image quality. The ability to produce consistently high quality imagery is a prerequisite, as are the abilities to adapt and be resourceful. In return, we offer an exciting, rewarding opportunity to join us at a pivotal point in our development, and to grow professionally and creatively within our unique studio culture. Your responsibilities will include the creation on 3-dimensional architectural renderings and animations as well as the assets used in our Virtual Reality applications.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- a deep passion for visual narrative and the creation of imagery
- a desire to be part of a collaborative, respectful and multi-disciplinary team
- an appreciation and desire to operate at the highest level in the industry
- an education in and/or informed love of, architecture and design
- the ability to understand and interpret 2-dimensional architectural drawings
- an ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
- an ability to solve problems creatively
- expert knowledge of Autodesk 3D Studio Max and V-Ray
- exemplary knowledge and experience operating Adobe Photoshop
- an ability to construct accurate and efficient 3-dimensional models
- strong design and multimedia skills including animation and motion graphics
- a strong drive to further their capabilities and career with us
